Welcome

Welcome to the online home of the Skillet Lickers... one of Country music's longest running groups in history! Starting in the early 1920's, Gid Tanner formed the first edition of the 'Skillet Lickers' who would become national sensations over the coming years, eventually becoming one of the most influential groups in the formation of Country music and one of the first Country groups to sell 1 million copies of an album. Today, the legacy lives on... over 90 years later.
