The Skillet Lickers

The Skillet Lickers are a Bluegrass and String Music Band that plays at many events throughout the state of Georgia. The band originated in the early 1920s with Gid Tanner and Riley Puckett, who would eventually sell one million copies of their final album in 1934. The Skillet Lickers are well known throughout the state, not only for their rich history and legacy, but for their performances and shows.
